Athens Direct Travel is a boutique, customer-centric travel agency with three main goals:

While most travel agencies focus on specific travel services or destinations, Athens Direct focuses on the customer. Thus, Athens Direct Travel provides each of its clients with its Personal Travel Advisor, with whom it can contact for any travel service it needs, whenever it needs it. Any individual, company, freelancer or organization can become a customer of Athens Direct. Athens Direct aims not only to offer personalized services that meet the wishes of each customer, but also to be “by his side” for anything he needs, before or during the trip.
At our Platforms, guests will find organized vacation packages, suggestions for accommodation in boutique hotels and villas throughout Greece, airport transfers and many other travel services. If a customer does not find the trip or service that meets their criteria, they can contact their Personal Travel Advisor to help them find exactly what they want, based on their criteria and needs.
To all our Customers we provide:

- Reservations of air and ferry tickets

The beginning
The creation of Athens Direct was inspired by its founder in the summer of 2000, when he invited 20 of his friends from the USA and Europe on a sailing trip to the Greek islands. Since he did not manage to pick them all up from the airport, he looked for ways to suggest them to go to El. Venizelos in his house.
His options were limited, as neither the metro nor public transport was convenient. Eventually he suggested to his friends to take a taxi and sent them instructions. However, some paid more than they should, others fell into taxi drivers who did not speak English well, and finally some took taxis that were in poor condition. The guests faced similar problems when they returned to the airport.
Based on this experience, the founder of Athens Direct decided to create a company with the mission “to provide quality transfer services for those who want a safe, comfortable and reliable transfer (airport transfer) to and from Athens airport”. A year later, in mid-2001, this business idea won second place in the Ideodromio international business design competition. The € 8,000 prize transformed Athens Direct on October 29, 2002 from a business scenario into a real company, ready to fulfill its mission. In 2003 Athens Direct received a travel agency license, added to the airport transfers it already provided a wide range of travel services and was renamed Athens Direct Travel.
